Zach Combs aka New MC’s Book
Just finished reading Zach Combs aka New MC’s new book “Headspin, Headshots, & History: Growing up in Twin Cities Hip-Hop”. It’s a really good memoir of things that happened in the local (Twin Cities) hip-hop scene in the late 90’s early 20’s. But what makes it more than a cool ethnographic document, is the way Big Zach tells the story of his life. Made me think about all the folks from back then, especially all the folks that passed away and moved on to the next world. I really miss Minnesota!
